Weekly Meeting, July 9, 2003

Meeting was called to order by President Joe at 12:15pm at Rocco's Restaurant.  It was our first meeting at Rocco's this summer and all went well. 

John Garrett ("Zip" for short) was our finemaster.  He fined John Vassallo for leaving his booster seat at the front table for the new Sgt. at Arms.  Our President Elect (Jim Fic) was right on time at 12:35pm. 

Angela Keane was serenaded with "Happy Birthday" from the membership.  And it was announced that Jim Peterson and his wife Kim are now proud parents of a baby boy born either late last night or early this morning.  Angela is hoping it was early this morning.  Angela won the raffle since today was her birthday.  She was the only one with an entry into the raffle.  She won a case of Barbecue sauce left over from last week's Dinner on the Common.

President Joe thanked all those that participated in the Dinner on the Common. 

President Joe passed around a sign up sheet for the joint meeting on July 30th at 12:15pm at Hillview with North Reading, Reading and Lynnfield.  Just need to get a head count - so if you missed the meeting - contact President Joe to say you are going.
