President Joe called the meeting to order at 12:15pm. Our Sgt. At Arms (Zip) is back! Fr. Don led us in song - and he asked that Marvin Weiner lead the song next week. Maybe it has something to do with Marvin knowing the words?
We had a large turnout again today. We had two visitors.
Mary Whitney had flowers delivered to her. It was from the girls at Jim Fic's office. Jim collected on his lobsterbake last weekend. A wonderful time was had by all and the girls wanted to thank Mary for her hospitality.
Birthday's for the month of July were announced. Doc Marshall turned 79 today! And the other birthdays were: Ruth Kennedy, Bob Doucette, Angela Keane, Dave Milot and Donna Wayman. Happy Birthday to all!!!!
Zip decided to collect a few fines.
I think he should have gotten President Joe for the broken bell. We have had this bell for over 50 years - and in his first month of his presidency the bell gets broken!? What's wrong with this picture?
Welcome back to Herb Peterson. Herb is now being seen around town again now that he is back from Ireland.
Ruth won the 50/50 raffle and I think has decided to save her $20.00 for her vacation. Ruth leaves next week for one week in England and one week in Scotland......Have fun Ruth!
And Barbara was real good about staying away from the dessert table. But didn't I see her walking out with the leftover cake?
Well till next week!!! And remember we are at Hillview Country Club, North Reading next week for joint meeting with North Reading, Reading and Lynnfield to meet the District Governor........
Until then - HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
