Sorry for the delay in posting this newsletter. I missed the meeting and was waiting for update notes. So I will post President Joe's e-mail out to the club.
There has not been a good response from the membership on going to the dog races. Doesn't anybody want to part with their money?
We had our kickoff Auction Committee meeting on Aug. 14th. We briefly discussed our strategy for the upcoming meetings and auction.
The Fireside Chat for the new members, Victoria Ellsworth and Ted Morang is tomorrow night at Donna Wayman's house. All are welcome to attend to show your support for the new members.
Plans are still in the works for Disctict Governor Paul's VIP (Very Important Prospective) member's night. This night is planned for any member to bring a prospective member to hear what Rotary is all about, so if you know anybody thatm ay be interested, please let me know.
Next week we are back at the Masonic Hall. Plans are to take Board member pictures outside at Rotary Park so we can update the website.
President Joe is looking for two volunteers to work with Dan Wandell on getting us speakers. Now, don't by shy, and step up to the plate.
Doc Marshall is doing better. Keep him in your prayers.
