The meeting wasn't called to order until after 12:20pm. Apparently the clock in the hall is slower than the actual time! But Fr. Don was on the ball and asked what was happening. Roger Hayden was with us today and played the national anthem on the piano.
We inducted Ed Harrison and Steve Jensen today. So say "welcome" to our two new members.
Christmas Party invitations are being handed out and mailed out. It is next Thursday, December 11th at Cafe Escadrille in Burlington from 6:30-8:30pm. Call President Joe if you are attending. We need a count as soon as possible because they need to order the food.
Board meeting on Tuesday and President Joe regretted to inform the membership that with regrets the board accepted Ruth Kennedy's resignation from the club effective the end of the year. We all wish Ruth the best and thank her for all she has done during her membership. Her shoes will be hard to fill as our PR person.

Donna spoke about her Christmas project which is now underway. If you are interested in helping in any way - contact Donna. Also wrapping party is Wed. Dec. 17th at Donna's office. We have a location change this year. Donna is trying to run the whole project out of her office this year.
Festival of Trees is this weekend sponsored by the Garden Club. Donna and Bill Doyle will be putting up the tree on Thursday. So stop by and see it this weekend. Also on Saturday night is the lighting of the lights on the common and Rotary is a partial sponsor on the ice sculpture.
Donna was strong armed into being songmaster today. But she made it easy and festive. Roger played the piano and we sang "Jingle Bells".
Faye had the winning raffle ticket but she did not find the winning card.
