Meeting called to order by President Joe. Roger attempted to play the piano. We are all still waiting for the piano to be tuned or replaced. I am hearing sputterings of someone donating a tuned piano to us???? We are trying to get for next week since the High School is coming to serenade us with Christmas songs. Next week will also be our last meeting for this year.
We had a business meeting today. President Joe updated the club on receiving the ballot in the mail in regards to the District Governor position for 2005-2006. It was voted that Donna Wayman and Joe Bilicki to be the electors to sign the ballot and cast the votes.
Christmas Party is tomorrow evening at Cafe Escadrille from 6:30-8:30pm. See President Joe to sign up. We have over 40 signed up so far.
We have been approached by Lynnfield to see if a group of the Rotary clubs that meet on Wednesday would like to do a joint meeting on January 7th at Angelica's in Middleton (corner of Rte. 62/114). Past District Governor Victor Saldahna is going around to speak to the clubs and with his recent bypass surgery they are trying to cut down on the number of clubs that Victor will need to visit. The club voted to attend this joint meeting. I am sure President Joe will let us know more information next Wednesday since after that we will not meet again until the January 7th meeting at Angelica's.
Donna Wayman updated us on the Christmas project which is underway. Not too late to become involved. See Donna.
Chris Neville was finemaster and did a "fine" job. Dan Wandell had the winning raffle ticket but did not pick the winning card.
See you next week!...................
