Events to be aware of -- Save the Dates!!

** District Conference May 1st and 2nd will be held in Salem - more info to come!

** The InterAct Club is supporting the "Local Heroes" cause.  Donations are being gathered to send to our troops overseas.  For a list of items needed you can visit

www.mass-localheroes.org or call 978-658-3000 for more details.

** We will be having a joint meeting with the Middleton club @ Angelica's in Middleton on 5/13.  The incoming GSE team will be there and it is our chance to speak with them.

**  June 21-24 will be the Rotary 100th Convention.

** The date for Trivia night is still being determined.  Even though the date is up in the air at this time, keep selling the VACATION RAFFLE TICKETS!!!  Angela Keane is spearheading this initiative, see her if you need more tickets.  This gives us more time to focus on selling tickets and garnering O.P.M. (Other Peoples Money).

** The Massachusetts Chapter of the Blue Knights motorcycle group is conducting a fundraiser for retired Wilmington Police Lieutenant Bob LaRivee. Bob was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in New Hampshire two years ago and subsequently had part of his left leg amputated. The fundraiser is being held to fund the purchase a 3-wheeled motorcycle that will enable him to continue to enjoy his retirement pastime.

Raffle tickets cost $100.00 and the Grand Prize is a 2009 Harley Davidson Motorcycle OR $15,000 in cash. Only 300 tickets will be sold with all proceeds going to the cost of the Grand Prize and the Fundraiser Motorcycle.

The drawing will be held on June 20th at the Tewksbury Elks Club. Tickets can be obtained from John Bossi or Tom Miller at the Wilmington Police Department  978-658-5071   Thanks  Chris Neville.
